LUCY MCCORMICK
Originally from the UK, Lucy started her career in the US working in commercial real estate where she gained valuable experience in business development, marketing and sales management representing property developers in Washington DC.
In an effort to expand her career overseas, Lucy took an exciting role as Project Manager in the Caribbean where she managed the construction and consulted on the overall design of a multi-million dollar equestrian facility in the British Virgin Islands. It was during this time, she made the decision to transition into interior design.
Lucy studied at London’s KLC School of Design and worked for Spence Harris Hogan, a leading architecture and interiors firm in the west end of London. She built her knowledge in hospitality and residential interiors prior to returning to the US where she based herself in San Francisco and continued to develop her career working with leading design firms across the Bay area.
Her industry experience includes contributions with award winning architecture and design firms including Backen & Backen Architects, EDG Design, Eigelberger Architecture and Ken Fulk Inc.
Lucy believes that designers have the unique opportunity to improve the living experience in the living environment. Her design solutions highlight aesthetics, timelessness, innovation as well as environmental needs while keeping the clients budget in mind.
